How long does it take to become an optometrist?

    7-8 years.

    Some people are able to get into optometry school with 3 years of undergrad, but many of schools are now requiring a 4 year degree. It's an additional 4 years of optometry school after you get accepted.

    graduate level-3 years; google optometry schools for all the requirements as well as the state licensening requirements
