What reality would you live in?

Given the choice, would you choose to live in another reality simultaneously with this reality?

(Example - say I would choose to live in this reality, along with a reality from my favorite book or video game, or whatever you choose. You are consciously aware of your other life in the different reality, and can switch in between realities at will.)

Please, only answer this if you won't be overly-critical about the question (or the questioner) just because you're too closed off to other ideas. This is an opinion question.

If the infinite universe is a reality, Then the possibility of several forms of dimensional reality exists, that could be beyond man's knowledge and realm..

I prefer a spiritual dimension, where reality is clear and pure..

Out of the world it maybe, but that is how I may want to be.

    Great day!

I'm not trying to be over-critical...but the word simultaneous I would have problems with. I think I could only focus on one reality at a time. But, as far as having an alternate reality, I think it would be nice to live in animal form(not the human animal) for part of the time.

There wouldn't be any worries or anxieties; clothes or bills. There would only be pure instinct and release. Perhaps a wolf or a bird for a few moments of raw animalism....then it's back to the daily grind.

The problem is with your choice of terms.

I choose to live in reality; really there's not choice involved, unless I'm insane. There is one reality that we experience, the only one.

But I also enjoy a fantasy world at times (notice the different terms, not "different reality" but "fantasy world"), but that is not reality it is an imaginative construct, like a novel I'm reading. I can switch to the fantasy world when I want, unless I'm doing something that requires concentration.

If you start to hallucinate, your other world may become psychosis, insanity. As long as you are firmly ground in reality, play all you want.

uuuh, yeah! Who the hell wouldn't want to do that?!?!?

So how would you operate simultaneously in 2 realities? How could your conscience handle thinking and acting in 2 directions at once and you still be the 1 identity? I have thought of this kind of a thing before, but it was like our dreams are a different reality that seems like a dream here, and then this reality seems like a dream in the "dream" state, but you are talking about 2 completely separate realities running side by side. That is interesting. How does it work?

    ----edit----

No there are bunches of realities. They are different dimentions, and there could be millions of them. You should turn on the discovery chanel sometime.

I guess one could say that is somewhat possible now with the advent of so many MMORPGs and what not like World of Warcraft, and Second Life....

But if you mean an entirely different existence, then yes I think it would be somewhat of a pleasant diversion.

I live in moments. Not in days or months or years. Every moment is different and unique, and every moment is a different reality.

Wow, I can talk wise too, never knew that ;-)
