please proof read my paragraphs Thanks?

Then, I started to plan how I can overcome my issue of self-reinforcement especially in school setting. One of my goals was not let my negative thoughts overcome my mind when I get a bad grade in an exam is one example. Self-monitoring is one of the strategies that adopted to complete my goals. Whenever I felt that I had a negative feeling toward one of my grade or one of my suggestions from my family or friends. I would write it down in a notebook every time I had a negative thought. I adopted my organization and time management skills to self-monitor my behaviors.

Recently, I noticed that I have overcome my problem on the frequency of self-reinforcement. This semester, I have improved greatly in my negative thoughts toward school. In my Social Work Practice I course, I felt determined to work hard and do well in the course. When the first exam for this course came; I didn’t know what to expect. I prepared for the exam by reading my chapters and the PowerPoint slides. Then, I saw what type of exam it is an essay exam, I started to worry that led to sick feeling in my stomach immediately. But I relax by thinking positive and taking the exam steps by steps. After I finish my exam, I didn’t have any negative thoughts still knowing that I performed poorly in the exam. At the end of the day, I went shopping with my friends and told them about the exam. They give positive feedbacks and I felt good about myself.

Accordingly, I began committing to a plan on ways to overcome issues of self-reinforcement, especially in a school setting. An example of a goal of mine is not to let my negative thoughts overcome my mind and abilities after receiving a bad grade. I adopted a strategy of self-monitoring in order to complete goals I set for myself. When I felt that a grade was unfair or incorrect, I would write my thoughts down in a notebook, also giving me organization and time management skills.

That would be a good starter, your mistake is that your trying to add sophisticated words in the meaning that don't match. Try and simplify it but also make it look decent. You're also misplacing punctuation. Try and analyze my paragraph and compare, not saying use my paragraph, just try and see the differences.
