Owe Bama said"We live in the greatest nation on Earth. Please help me change it!" What do you want to change?

Most who voted for this guy have "buyers remorse". So for you hardliners can you list another country whose government you would like to take over our country? Somebodys model nation that is in existance now or was as some period of history.

I agreed with the first half of his declaration. It's the last part I have a problem with, along with everything he has "attempted" (since he hasn't actually done anything positive) to do since usurping the office.

Please name your favorite government.

Update:

So Darwin -- Why haven't you moved?

Update 2:

Mindy, you too. If it's so much better, why are you still here? We don't place any restrictions on people leaving like some of our neighbors.

The Canadian government is the best government I've lived under. They care about their people's education and take care of their welfare pretty much across the board. It's also very democratic, about the same as the British system before the EU. They certainly do not have the defense establishment corruption we have.

What would I change in the U.S.? I would probably want primary and secondary education improved, phase in a strong national curricula so that schools have to improve, make it easier to change the Constitution, and open up the political system so that more parties and political ideas get exposure.

To stop the defense establishment and foreign governments from running the country, we should prevent the government from funding think tanks.

President Obama is a breath of fresh air, which is why he won the Nobel Prize. He saved GM and Chrysler and the banks, making sure that the stimulus bill sent relief out for the parts of our country that needed it. And please don't forget, he reversed a LOT of stupid Bush policies, and is positioning our troops to leave Iraq. He has done a lot of work in science and technology to make sure that our country has a good chance to compete economically in the 21st century, and has improved America's image in other countries. He nominated our first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice.

Not true that most have buyer's remorse, the polls show that Obama is still a popular president with ratings that are as good as Ronald Reagan's and Bill Clinton's were at this period in their presidencies. Which means most people who voted for him are still happy with him.

I would like to change the fact that a working middle class person is not able to live as well as they were 30-40 years ago. The disparity in salaries from CEO's and employees.

The change will come whether Mr. Obama is successfull or not. If not, the changes will come in a way nobody is going to like it. Much less conservative republicans. "Those who prevent peaceful reforms, make revolutionary change possible", John F. Kennedy.

    Untrue.

I'm sick of the America complex from the right. Just because we live in a great country doesn't meant the rest of them should be ignored. Branch out a little.

The USA is one of the greatest nations on Earth. I have lived in a couple that in many ways were superior.
