I got a violation notice from YA for answering a question about watching NASCAR online?

I know that this is not a question but they sent me a notice when i answered one of those silly questions "how can i watch NASCAR online for free".

I answered it by saying "Thanks for the 2 points"

It is spam and anytime anyone reports the questions they very rarely

get penalized. Yahoo obviously likes them.

You received a violation because you didn't answer the question. Those questions are very frustrating but they will be here for a while. I stopped answering them because the trolls want to make everyone mad, and when we get mad and answer the question, the trolls have accomplished their goal. My advice would be either answer all those questions with a simple "the internet" answer, or don't answer them at all. If we stop answering them, eventually the trolls will get bored and stop.

That's why trolls post those questions. They hope they'll p*** off someone and get them in trouble with the Y/A team.

There's a Y!A member who calls themselves "The Account Destroyer" who has taken it upon themselves to report questions that they think violates Y!A Community Guidelines. They also go by the names "TAD" and "TAD LIVES". Ironically this TAD person is violating Y!A Guidelines by having multiple accounts.

I've had the same thing happen. Don't worry. You didn't answer their question in any way, and the trolls can't take it. Answer their question and toss the sarcastic snippit in with your answer.
