Why are medical procedures so expensive?

no particular reason... they just want your money.

honestly a few things are probably expensive: anesthesia, sterilizing kit, and keeping blood usable..

but just doing something simple shouldn't be expensive

Doctor's and other professionals enjoy the finer things in life, as their higher education has bred them to do.

I once knew a Doctor that ate only the highest quality "Hot Pockets" such as the "Supreme Pizza" and "Philly Cheese Steak" varietals.

My family and I can only afford the "Ham and Cheese" or "Broccoli and Cheddar Hot Pockets" on special occasions. But we ain't Doctor's.

Can you imagine tucking into one of those fancier meat filled Hot Pockets? Boy! Whoooo-weeee

because the people who perform them had to go to school for a long time! plus meds and equipment used costs $$
