Anyone use trenchless plumbing repair?

I was wondering if anyone out there has had any good or bad experiences with trenchless plumbing repair. Costly? Worth it? Any thoughts please.

Update:

By "trenchless" I mean the procedure that is an alternative to digging a trench from the house to the street to replace the pipe leading to the sewer.

An age old saying: you get what you pay for.

If you have a collapsed pipe, well, need I say more. With problems, it is generally good to go to the source of the problem if possible, otherwise a band-aid will do, but only for awhile.

I used some fittings that are called Gator fittings (something like that) I had to change a valve that is next to a wall. They worked really good. I got them from Home Depot.
