Limewire and an external hard drive?
I know that Limewire slows your computer down.
I'm presuming this is because it uses large amounts of memory to store the things you download? (If I'm wrong please correct me)
So, in order to not slow my computer down, could I buy an external hard drive. where I store all my music from Limewire and just plug it in when I need it and unplug it after I've finished using it?
I already have a PS3. What's that got to do with anything?

No you can't do that. Limeware is Crappy software and will make your computer a virus infected wasteland of despair.
get your music off a reputable site like Amazon, iTunes or Rhapsody, and your computer won't be slow at all, you'll save money from not buying an external hard drive and have higher quality music too. Plus you know, not get sued by the RIAA, that's always good right?

People tend to think that music takes up so much space on a hard drive. It really doesnt. I have 2,664 mp3's on my laptop and they are taking up 10 gigs of my hard drive space out of 160gigs. So unless u plan on downloading way more music than that, 10gigs vs my 150gigs left really isn't shyt. I guess it all matters how big your hard drive is.
