Does HS wrestling benefit from the popularity of MMA?

HS sports is the best bargain in the world, free instruction and experience for four years. So with the popularity of MMA, do you think that HS wrestling has benefited by kids being interested in grappling or are they all just spending money at MMA schools?

I think it probably has. I have noticed several questions relating to high-school wrestling and MMA that indicate to me that some young people have at least considered some of the aspects of each and of going out for high-school wrestling or their approach to taking it more seriously in those PE programs where wrestling is one of the sports that a high-school includes in their curriculum.

yeah it probably has because kids who want to be MMA fighters need somewhere to start, and what better way then high school wrestling.
