Where you at Eagles fans?

It kills me that before the loss there were all these Eagles fans on here. Now no one is on here, and the ones who are on here are all bitter. STOP BEING PUNKS. We lost to a really bad team due to a lack of preparation and pig-headedness. This game should serve notice to all these young guys on our team that you still have to play the game no matter how much you're supposed to win by. The other team is still a pro football team. They're still men and they still want to win. Just showing up doesn't work. Congrats to the Raider fans. I remember when the Eagles were horrible and every win felt like Christmas morning, so have fun with this one. November and December are the Eagles' months, so I think it was good to get that loss and wake them up. The last time we got a wake up game (the Ravens of last year) we all know what happened. So why is everyone hiding and angry? Where you at????

Update:

I'm realistic too, and I still think we're one of the best teams in the league. We fell asleep at the wheel and it cost us. But it wasn't a divisional loss and it's still early in the season. These young kids on our team felt like they were invincible and got smacked in the face with reality. Good. Wake the hell up. Not really a baseball fan man, but I'm happy they're winning.

Update 2:

Rush, we absolutely DO have a top tier team. Unfortunately they didn't play top tier football yesterday. I'm quite confident that this won't happen again. Andy Reid's coaching can be questioned, but not his record in November and December. I'm not the type of fan that puts us in the superbowl after one win and then banishes them to the bowles of the NFC East after a loss. I'm pretty sure we'll make the playoffs and a strong push for the superbowl. November 1st will tell me personally a lot about our team. That's the one I'm looking at. I think the Eagles are too. The only thing is I'm a FAN and can AFFORD to look ahead!

Update 3:

Sigh...one loss and McNabb and Reid have to go. Whatever. Even if they did leave Kolb is good, but we don't know what he really is, and Reid just became the first coach in Eagles history to win 100 games. He has to go? Really? Do you remember Rich Kotite and Ray Rhodes? If so I think you get my point.

I'm an Eagles fans and have been all my life. I didn't go anywhere. Yes, I'm extremely disappointed. I've have been a big supporter of finding a replacement for McNabb for the last several seasons. It is apparent that the franchise cannot win with him at QB and MUST go in a different direction.

Being Vick on board is not the answer either. Vick seems to dazzle the fans with his athletic ability but the fact is he cannot and never has been able to read defensive formations. That's why he runs for his life most of the time.

When, on the same day, the Phillies score more runs than the Eagles score points, it's time to make some serious changes. Andy Reid needs to be reevaluated as well. His time with the Eagles may be wearing thin.

I'm still here; and I'm unimpressed by the Eagles coaching decisions yesterday. McNabb threw the ball 46 times, versus a team that cannot stop the run. You need to lay off the kool-aid; the Eagles offensive line looked absolutely terrible yesterday as Richard Seymour did as he pleased. Even with the Raiders best player, CB Nmadi Asmougha being out; they still failed to capitalize. Was a very sad effort from a team thats supposed to be a contender. Andy Reid's playcalling has grown tiring and boring. Even when McNabb wasn't under constant pressure; the amount of "check down" passes was a joke. Grow a set, and go down field. Whether thats on Reid or McNabb, is up in the air.

There's another team in Philadelphia; I believe they're the World Champions, who out-scored the Eagles yesterday in a more meaningful game then the Eagles will play in this year if they continue to play down to opponents as they did yesterday.

I'm an Eagles fan, but I'm also realistic.

Many Eagles fans seem to think they have a top tier team, they don't. They're up there with San Diego and teams like that, one tier below. Even top tier teams can lose to bottom feeders, but its no reason to turn back on a team. Losses happen its part of football - at least your taking it well.

Source(s): Top Tier teams are teams that win their division 90 percent of the time and are frequently earning bye weeks. Teams that at their best can compete with any other team at that teams best count as top tiers. Teams like Indy, New England, Pittsburg are top tier teams. New York Giants are edging that way as well and this season at least the Saints are a top tier team. High tier teams are like the eagles, ravens, dallas, chargers etc. Have the potential to win their division if every other team in it is having a bad season, can make it far into the playoffs at times but really isn't going to compete with a top tier team consistantly. I do agree with you that Reid and McNabb are both good and people who are calling for them to go are being a little silly.

    They're vandalizing Mcnabbs house...

You really don't think the most brutal fans in the league arent at least egging his house.Your crazy.Philly fans are serious about their football and I think an egging is the least they would do.I don't think thats grounds to get rid of ried and mcnabb theyd be crazy,im just saying when you know the giants lost and you have a chance to be first you capitalize on it not play like sh1t against one of the most unstable teams in the league.

Many Eagles fans jumped off the bandwagon and hopped on the Saints bandwagon.

Coaching decisions were piss poor. McNabb needed to pull his head from his @$$.

PHILLY SHOULD NOT HAVE LOST THAT GAME!

Like you said, I hope this is a wake up call for the coming weeks.

Do you guys see the pigeon on the field?

With N-Obama-ism, eagles just can't do a damn thing, this world now belongs to "pigeon".

    What a coincidence!
