Sports Medicine diagnosis question...?
"You are watching a baseball game and your shortstop receives a drive ball that hits his anterior thigh. He collapses to the dirt. Then, he jumps up and limps into the dugout. You note spasm and extreme pain in the area. After sitting during the exam he cannot stand up."
Anyone know what injury this is?? I'm thinking contusion but I'm not sure.
