ipod transfer to computer...?

I made the mistake of updating iTunes and now all of my CD's on there won't play because they were not bought from the iTunes store. I have too many on there to sit here for days uploading music. Does anyone know of a program to get around the apple "ghost"? Thanks in advance!

Update:

No, I need clear directions when it comes to this, I'm completely computer illiterate!

Update 2:

There used to be a way to go through the terminal application and use it that way, that's what I'd like to do, is to put in the code. It was super easy and I understood it...anything like that?

Update 3:

It basically makes your ipod into a hard drive and then you can transfer, the only problem is that when I tried to do that, it wouldn't stay on my desktop.

Update 4:

Expod worked the best....thanks for all the advice though!

You may take a look at this step by step guide, it will teach you how to copy all music and video from iPod back to computer or iTunes, including the non-purchased music (such as CD music, downloaded songs), it's safe and works pretty well for me. It will keep the songs play information - rating, playcount, name, artist, playlist, etc.

I recommend AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer which can transfer your iPod and iPhone music, video, playlist, photos back to computer and iTunes.

If you own more than one iPods, AVCWare iPod to iPod/Computer/iTunes Transfer can simultaneously manage all the iPods in the same interface, you may transfer files among these iPods by drag-and-drop.

    Hope it helps!
