Which do you perfer Huggies or Pampers Diapers?

PAMPERS all the way! I used Pampers Swaddlers when my son was first born and they were really soft but I received hundreds of newborn and size 1 Huggies at my baby shower so I used those and didn't think about buying Pampers again until he got to size 3 (which was when he was about 2 months old - he was and always has been HUGE). I don't know why but I just assumed all diapers would leak and were hard to put on a squirmy baby but once I tried a Pampers again it was like a breath of fresh air. Seriously! I love the extra tab on the front and they hold WAY more than Huggies. Pampers were the only ones to hold in what my husband and I called "poopy explosions". I also LOVE Pampers wipes WAY better than Huggies wipes. Huggies wipes always tear and aren't very soft but Pampers are very thick and are SO soft! I've tried Luvs and used them for a pack or two but they hardly hold anything. They maybe cheaper but definitely not worth it since you have to buy twice has many.

In NB size Huggies suck! Swaddlers are way better. My daughter is 9months old and in a size 3. I love Huggies Little Movers! Pampers Baby Dry are good also Baby Dry and Luvs are exactly the same I'm currently using both and can't tell the difference only different print and one is not softer than the other. In wipes I love Huggies wipes.

Pampers

Very hard, I like them both, i like pampers the 12hr absorbent ones for night time, but they do bulk up in the front A LOT, the huggies supreme and naturals i use during the day, they do not ball up so much :)

We tried a pack of size 1 huggies we got at the baby shower.. and they sucked. They just weren't for us. We had a lot more blow outs and pee outs.

Pampers! We are gonna really miss the swaddlers :(

I have a 5 week old...

He is pretty skinny still - at first we were using Pampers Swaddlers... they worked great.

Then we tried Huggies --still in newborn size-- and they were too big -- he would always get pee on him.

That was about 2 weeks ago - so they might fit him better now.

BUT anyway I would say I like Pampers.

With my son, I used Huggies... and they work awesome!!

But with my daughter the Huggies didn't work that well... Pampers worked better for her... I have asked friends and it seems that Huggies work better with the boys and Pampers with the girls.....

my baby was small when i had him and he had to be in premie's. I tried huggies and would always get peed on. So i switched to pampers and they worked great. However the older he got the more he peed and you could smell urine right when he peed whether it was right after i changed his diaper and his first pee. So i had friends who swore by huggies and at sam's club you can by them in bulk so i was hesitant to try them again but i did and now we swear by huggies when they are big enough to fit in them. We tried some of the cheaper brands in between but he was allergic to the cheap material used so Huggies are definately our number one brand now.
