11 weeks preg and GP couldn't feel top of uterus? normal?

Ok, so this is my second baby. I am 11 weeks 2 days pregnant and went to my GP today as I have had awful headaches and low blood pressure over the last few days. He also felt my stomach and said he couldn't feel the top of the uterus but that it was ok because it usually didn't pop out until 12 weeks or so anyway. Do you think I should be worried? I had a friend who had a 'missed miscarriage' last year so I'm terrified!

I have my OB/GYN appointment next week but I was just wondering when your GP/Practitioner was able to feel your fundus/top of uterus when you were pregnant? Does it just 'pop' out all of a sudden??

He probably just assumed because it's your second baby that your uterus may have moved out sooner but it usually doesn't until you're 12 weeks. It'll just start to slowly come up into your stomach at the start of your 12th week.

I had a missed miscarriage last year and my uterus was measuring normal even after the baby had stopped growing...

    I wouldn't worry...

Headaches and low blood pressure are completely normal. I had daily migraines through my second trimester and it was completely normal, unfortunately.

I would ignore how your GP made you feel, he's right, your uterus is still too low to be felt at this point.

For your headaches, take 2 extra strength tylenol and drink a coke. The caffeine helps the tylenol be more effective. This is what my doctor suggested to me, as I couldn't take migraine meds.

issues and occasional blood rigidity are thoroughly time-honored. I had on an universal basis migraines through my 2nd trimester and it grew to become into thoroughly time-honored, regrettably. i might overlook approximately how your GP made you sense, he's top, your uterus remains too low to be felt at this component. to your issues, take 2 extra power tylenol and drink a coke. The caffeine facilitates the tylenol be extra powerful. it rather is what my well being practitioner reported to me, as i could no longer take migraine meds.
