how much is he worth?

Not selling him, just out of curiosity lol. Someone offered to buy him from me at a show and I said no (because even for a million pounds he is not for sale!).

16hh 11year old Irish Draught X. Scoring mid 60%s in dressage, lovely scopey jump (hasn't a lot of jumping experience but showing potential to jump big and well). Safe as houses, my nervous novice mum rides him and he looks after her! Hacks out in company - will hack alone but gets a bit nervous with big noisy things (jogs up onto the verge and tries to hide in the hedge).

Never comes home from a show without a ribbon - dressage and showing. Goes in a rubber snaffle at all times, will go first or last, not easily upset by things. Good to shoe, box, clip, walk under his tummy, set a nuclear bomb off next to.... =)

That's a hard question. It depends on where you live. That horse is absolutely beautiful. You don't see horses like that around here so the only thing I can go on are the big horse sites. Anywhere from 10 to 20 thousand. I'd love to know what you got offered. Will you tell us?

I would say round about £3500. That doesnt seem like much but tbh, you cant get a lot for a horse that hasn't done and won some big competitions these days...

with the current financial climate i wpuld say 2500-3000 max. these people that are saying 7000 and more are in a dream world. my friend is struggling to sell a sprt horse affiliated showjumper its 9 yo 17.2hh qualified for amature finals and qualified for scope 1.30m. she asking 7000 which is a bargain! your horse would sell as an all rounder for about 2500-3000

At the end of the day a horse is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. But I would say at 11 years old £3500 - £4000.

    Hi,

Because I don't know what level you're competing at, my estimation probably won't be super accurate, however, since you're posting the trot in your test(s) I would say training level or level 1. He has really good movement, and stays fairly round in all three gaits. Good Riding! I would estimate his value to be around 15,000-20,000 $. Hope I helped, and beautiful horse by the way!
