Do the responses to my previous question here demonstrate the power of Poe's Law?
None of the responders to my previous question here (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200910... realized that my question was a parody. IMO, that's not the fault of those who responded.
Instead, could it be evidence that Poe's Law applies to the AGW "skeptic" community?
Poe's Law states that it is difficult to construct a parody of a fundamentalist/kook argument that is easily distinguishable from the genuine article.

I made a total joke question about something that wasn't a fundamentalist/kook argument and I still got serious answers

Apparently bravozulu still doesn't get it.
But yes, there's a website called Denial Depot which is a perfect example of Poe's Law.
http://denialdepot.blogspot.com/
It does such a good job parodying deniers - whose arguments are so utterly ridiculous - that sometimes it's hard to tell that it's a parody!
As with your question, there have been many cases of AGW proponents parodying deniers in their questions where the only way to know it was a parody was to know the asker wasn't a denier.

I knew it was a parody, but then again I already knew from your previous posts that you were an AGW proponent. It is certainly very difficult to write a denier post ridiculous enough that it becomes obvious that it is a parody; some people here are quite stupid so you would have some stiff competition.
