If one parent has the blood type AA and the other has the blood type OO the offspring have a chance of recieving AO blood. The gene for type O blood is recessive. A person needs to have two copies of the gene to have that blood type.. but it depends on you heritage. If there are more people in your family with type A then you may be A. if more people in your family got O then most likely yo got O. You can also determine this by which parent you take after the most. Example: you got brown eyes and your dad has brown eyes.. and your mom has blue eyes ... and both their parents have brown eyes. the brown eyes gene is dominant. also ask around ur family such as any aunts uncles grand parents. you can always go to the doctor and find out what your blood type is

Your blood type is determined by your parents and what they pass on to you. So yes, you would be either type A or O...and definitely not type B.

Depending on if the A parent is AA or AO will alter the blood types you can have there are charts you us to determine the blood types
-----A----O
O-AO--OO
O-AO--OO
-----A----A
O-AO--AO
O-AO--AO
As you can see in chart one you have 50% of having AO blood and %50 of having OO blood
In chart two your only possiblity is AO.
It is however impossible to know whether your parent has AO or AA blood. You can only pick up whether a person has a dominate and what the dominate is or has no dominate (O), not whether they have a dominate and a recessive.

Look at previous questions like this, there was a person that had a web page that let you put in the parents blood types and it told you what the child's blood type could be or vice versa. - BookwarmLv 61 decade ago
Not usually, but in your case yes Your O parent gave you an O gene and your A parent gave you an A or O(she is either AA or AO) so you either have AO or OO and must be A or O.
