Discontinued MMORPGS?

So in the past I know that sometimes when video game companies go bankrupt, or they sell a project that they sometimes release the games for free to the public. I know it's not often, but it happens once in a while and they do it so people can do their own servers.

I was wondering if there is a site that maybe has a list for these? Or if there are any sites out there that are do it yourself sites for these games? I miss playing games like earth and beyond and stuff and was wondering if there are any games out there MMORPG style that were launched after the companies went bankrupt back to the public. Games like hellgate london, earth and beyond, etc....

Is anyone aware of any of these? I thought it would be cool to set up my own server between a small group of friends.
