Historically, a lot. Currently, a lot. Think of every item you see that says "Made in China." Think of all the Americans out of work. Think of the billions America is in debt to China for, and what it will do when it owns America... The first things it will do are eliminate religion and religious believers, and take over private property for state use... For the future, unless we wake up, I'd say America will be much more adversely effected by Communism. Those who think it's a joke didn't have relatives killed in the 1970's and 1980's by Communist Soviets...but they were somebody's relatives....some people know how horrible Communism is in all its incarnations and locations..and some people don't.

Communism has been the "bogeyman" that has cause the squandering of millions of America dollars for the last sixty years. The culture of the United States would never allow full Communism to take hold but Americans are easily frightened so we spent the money.

Money wasted to attempt to assassinate Fidel Castro multiple times.

Money wasted on Vietnam which has no strategic value to the US

    on the other hand...

Money well spent in Afghanistan to force the Soviet Union to go broke. Taking out the Soviet Union for us was like Macy taking out Gimbels.

The biggest threat to the US are theocracies not communism.

Actual communism-none. The scare word "COMMUNISM"-drove people into a frenzy during the fifties and sixties, became laughable during the seventies and eighties, still scares a handful of uneducated fools.

Actually guy above me, it's the U.S. that's kept Cuba from being free. The major issue in Venezuela is oppression of the majority by capitalist elites which Hugo Chavez is fighting. And democratic elections are not coups.

Communism will destroy the country. There'll be war before we let anyone take away our freedoms. Even if I'm the only one, I'll defend my freedoms. And it is obama's fault. I know you asked us not to say that, but sorry, it needs to be said.

    A lot.

    If it weren't for communism...

    Cuba would be free.

There would be no issues in Venezuela

The socialist coups in Peru, Chile, Nicaragua or many others would've never happened

It goes from the responsibility on the INDIVIDUAL to the responsibility is on the government.

That also means that the government will tell you what you can do , where you can go to school, what you will study, what job you go into, when and where you may go on vacation, what you drive, and on and on and on.

0bama (PBUH) has LOTS in store for you.
