Christians, when do you think the rapture will take place?

Do you think it will take place before, during or after the tribulation??

Please give Scripture if you can. Thanks

God Bless.

    Nobody knows

for only the Father knows when the rapture is going to take place

If you read the Bible, He tells us that " I will come like a theif in the night"

    "I am coming soon"

but the rapture is not for Gods chosen people

    not for his children

    not for the church

a lot of people are mistaken that the church is buildings

    the church is people

    those who believe in Christ

    accepted Christ

    other Christians may know this

though the rapture in itself is nothing to fear for the righteous,

Although yeah it is been said as "the great and terrible day of Gods anger/wrath"

But we (those who have chose God, those who believe in Jesus) will be spared that

But we (Christians) should never forget that we are ONLY saved by His Grace

and should be praying for God to enlighten those who do not believe

For there was a point when all of us was in darkness

before the Light of the world came to the world

before the crucifixion, there was no way to the Father for it is by His sacrifice, by His blood (Jesus Christ) we are reedeemed

we should be greatful that God has saved us, now and from what is to come,

For he has made it clear what would happen to the righteous, and the wicked

Like I said before nobobdy knows when besides the Father, that the rapture would begin

The only thing one can do, is to look at the signs of the end times, Biblical prohecies that has come true, are coming true.

ANYBODY who tells you that they do know, has either been deceived, or is trying to deceive you

God has already made it clear in the Bbible what would happen when the rapture happens, but never stated the excact time

The Father is the only one, who does know

    not sure if this helps

1Cor.14:34-35 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

Considering the bible doesn't even mention a "rapture," my guess would be never.

When the Father tells the Son to go get his Bride, it's gonna happen. The rapture of the church is the next event on God's calendar. The word "Rapture" is not in the Bible, but neither is the word "grandfather," and there are certainly grandfathers in the Bible. The english word "rapture" is translated from I Thessalonians 4:17 from the Greek word "harpazo..." Here it is in KJV with Strong's numbers:

    1Th 4:17 ThenG1899 weG2249 which are aliveG2198 and remainG4035 shall be caught upG726 togetherG260 withG4862 themG846 inG1722 the clouds,G3507 to meetG1519 G529 theG3588 LordG2962 inG1519 the air:G109 andG2532 soG3779 shall we everG3842 beG2071 withG4862 the Lord.G2962

G726 is the Greek word we are concerned with here:

    G726

    ἁρπάζω

    harpazō

    har-pad'-zo

From a derivative of G138; to seize (in various applications): - catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force). This has been translated "Rapture" by scholars, NOT ME.

See also I Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

There IS biblical support for a rapture, and there have been literally scores of books written on this subject of the end times according to the Bible. I have examined the scriptures and come to my own conclusions with the aid of my pastor. I'm sure there is room for disagreement along this subject line among sincere Christians, and I'm fine with that.

The world is NOT spinning out of control. God has a plan to bring this age to a close. Jesus is returning, there IS a heaven, there IS a hell, Christians win, we know the end of the story; we just disagree on what order some of the events take place in.

I believe that the Rapture is the next event to take place on God's calendar. I'm not looking for any more "signs," I'm looking for a Savior. Let me be clear: The Rapture is NOT the second coming of Christ; it is the LORD meeting his church in the AIR, and it signifies the END of the church age in which we are now living, (see Matthew 28:18-20) and the BEGINNING of the Great Tribulation.

The Second Coming of Christ will be Jesus' feet touching down on the Mount of Olives (see Zechariah 14:4), and this will signify the END of the Great Tribulation.

AFTER the rapture, things are going to be happening real quick...In heaven, immediately for believers, there will be the Bemus judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). This is for BELIEVERS ONLY, and it is rewards according to our works, NOT salvation, we're already saved and in Heaven...Following the judgment seat of Christ will be the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Revelation 19:6-9).

MEANWHILE, back on earth, will be the Great Tribulations (see Matthew 24:20-22 AND Revelations chapters 6 through 19, this is also the 70th week spoken of in Daniel 9:24).

Notice that in Revelation 6 through 19, in the descriptions of the Great Tribulations, there is NO mention of the Church. Why? Because we're not there!! See Revelation 4:1; I believe this is also a vision of the rapture as given to Apostle John:

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

There is a DOOR opened in heaven, a voice as if it were a trumpet talking with me, and the voice said COME UP HITHER....This is a reference to the rapture, Christians are taken out of this evil world before the Tribulations (throughtout the entire Old Testament, God ALWAYS delivered his people, why would his character change in the New Testament?) MEANWHLE, back on earth....

There will be 3 1/2 years of peaceful leadership under the Antichrist as he rises to power and establishes a one world government; followed by 3 1/2 years of terror such as the world has never seen before nor will again. It will be in those days that men shall speak to the mountains, and ask the hills to fall on them:

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

THEN will be the Second Coming of Christ; on the ground, ENDING the Great Tribulations, he will set foot upon the Mount of Olives, see Zechariah 14:4, Acts 1:11-12, and Revelation 19:11-16.

Zec 14:3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

IMMEDIATELY, upon the Second Coming of Christ, ALL of the armies of the nations of the world will gather their forces to do battle against Jesus Christ, God Almighty, see Revelation 16:14-16.

Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

The Battle of Armageddon is the PEAK of mankind in his sinful rebellion against God--There are no Christians left on earth except those who became Christians during the tribulation--And most of them were beheaded; ALL of the armies of the nations of the earth will gather their forces, all those who have accepted the Mark of the Beast...

It isn't going to be much of a battle. The results of the battle are recorded in Revelation 19:11-20 and Revelation 20:1-3. Christ will defeat them with the sword out of his mouth, and the birds of the air will eat their fill of the flesh of mighty men, kings and captains. Blood will be as high as a horse's bridle, see Revelation 14:20.

Christians will be there, too. We will return to earth as the armies of God, clothed in white linen on white horses as foretold in Revelation 19:14. We were given the white robes at the Marriage feast of the Lamb, (Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.)

and we will witness the Battle from horseback. I believe that it MAY be that God will wipe away our tears as we see loved ones condemned to Hell:

Rev 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

We are now done with every book except Revelation. The battle of Armageddon will be followed by the Millenium (Revelation 20:4-6), the final revolt (Revelation 20:7-10, involving Gog and Magog), followed by the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15), this is ONLY for unbelievers, and they ALL go to hell for not doing the work of God as mentioned in John 6:29.

This is followed by eternity--heaven and hell (Revelation 21:1-8).

The Bible closes with a Final Invitation (Revelation 22:12-21, "Come, and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely"), and a warning to those who would change scripture.

    In Christ,

    John the Baptist
