  • How long do perms typically last in someone's hair?

I have heard 6 months, but I have seen people that kept perms longer. I had a perm 14 years ago when I was 12 and I didn't like it much because I didn't know how to really take care of it.

My hair is almost shoulder length and it's think. I want to get another perm but with loose curls. I can't do the whole curling iron thing. Should I wait for my hair to be longer?

  • Evolutionists: Are humans still evolving? Is there any studies that show this?

I am a Christian but I don't think the world is only 6000 years old. I couldn't begin to guess how old it is since I wasn't around when it came into existence.

What I would like to know is if we are still evolving? Is there any studies that you can link to me to show this. Thanks.

  • Why is Palestine so opposed to Israel and vice versa?

Is Palestine a predominately Muslim population? I am not understanding this, please don't think I am being disrespectful, but I don't see what the problem is.

Could someone help me understand? It confuses me why they are always fighting.

  • Muslims how do you feel about Hamas calling an attack on Israel after Jews said they wanted to move?

Al-Asqa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock? The leader said he wanted them moved or blown up.

'I call on Arabs and Muslims all over the world to sever their diplomatic ties with the Zionist occupation in response to their attacks on the first shrine of Muslims,' Hamas leader Ahmed Abu Halabeya said.

  • Atheists, & those who don't believe Jesus is God, Question about afterlife?

Lets say this is what really would happen:

You died and judgment day came. You were ushered in front of God and He said, " Others believed on me without seeing me, but you have rejected me without seeing me.I'm going to give you a second chance. Do you believe in Me now?"

Do you think you would still deny Him or would you receive Him, if this really did happen when you died?

Lay your beliefs aside, and just say for the sake of the question this did happen. What do you think you would do?

Since atheists don't believe in God the same could be asked for a Christian or any one else that believes in an afterlife. How could we know there is an afterlife and how do we know where we go after death if there is one. I know that is a logical question but I would like comments to the ones I stated about please.

  • Why are people on here so hateful? Christians attacking Atheists & vice versa?

Why do Christians and Atheists on here just keep attacking each other? Christians we are supposed to show love to those who hate us and do not agree with us.

I've seen a couple Christians on here saying they wish all Atheists would die, which I was appalled. Even though we don't share the same beliefs, that is very harsh. Atheists are people too. I don't agree with about 95% of what they say but they are still human!

Christians, when we talk about our beliefs and they come from the Bible and are truthful then there is no need to apologize, for the Bible is truth, but when you say things from your own heart, you are not sharing God's love. No wonder they don't want to take a chance in believing.

I've been guilty of this too and if I offended anyone, outside of quoting the Bible, I apologize.

    God Bless

  • Christians, a question about Jesus?

If you were alive during the time Jesus was doing His ministry would you have believed He was the Messiah or do you think you would have been like the majority of Jews and rejected Him?

  • Christians, I need advise please...About husband/seperation&sex.?

My husband left 3months ago today and we have still be having sex regulary (about once a week). I was told that since we are still married to him it's okay to have sex with him. I am trying to be obedient in God's word and do what is right by being submissive.Tonight my husband said horrible things to me, and the last time we had sex he was very aggressive. I don't think I can have sex with him anymore, but would that be me going against God's word??

Please only serious answers. I have been debating and praying over this for sometime now. I've gotten mixed answers from various Christians. I don't want to feel like I'm being used. He already abandoned me and i feel utterly rejected.

  • Why do atheists believe theists are brainwashed? Couldn't we say the same for atheists who believe in theories?

Just curious as to why atheists think all theists are brainwashed?

Couldn't the same could be said for atheists who are blindly believing in theories? I am just trying to figure this logic out.

  • Christians, at what age did you realize Jesus was God & asked Him to be your savior?

I'm just curious at what age you were when you became aware of Jesus's divinity & how old you were when you asked Him to be your Savior.

  • Christians how does it make you feel when a nonbeliever becomes a believer in Christ?

I personally feel very happy about this especially when they were raised up in a different religion or were atheist/agnostic.

Does it make your heart sing with joy? I find sometimes when I hear these stories of nonbelievers becoming believers, it makes me tear up with so much joy. Do you feel the same?

I'm sure I'll get some rude comments from nonbelievers, but I am prepared to be criticized for my faith. Jesus said we should expect persecution from nonbelievers.

  • If you are a poet, how many poems have you written? Question about Copyright too.?

I'm curious as to how many poems people have written. Although, I wrote tons when I was younger, I have started picking it up again. I stopped counting years ago. I wanted to send it all to copyright but I literally had like 500 poems counted out in 1999 and well, I've written WAY more than that in the last 10 years. Is there a limit to how many you can submit?

  • How can I stop being so demanding, insecure & jealous in my marriage?

This is the 1st time I've actually sat down and wrote about my husband leaving me. It's been 2 1/2 months since he left. He is in the Air Force and was gone for 9 months. We got married on his Christmas break and he left for school 11 days after we were married. So we've been married less than a year. 7months later he came back from school and 6 weeks later he left me to move out with his mom.

We married too soon, and we should have waited but now we are married and separated but I want it to work. He said he left because I am too demanding, insecure and jealous. I have horrible relationships in the past that have left a bad taste in my mouth and makes me feel insecure. My husband is a good man. He's generous with his money (I am not currently working), he pays all my bills and even gives me extra money. He comes over once a week and we are intimate and I always want more, even though I never tell him this. He also has taken upon his self to help raise my three boys as his own sons. He gets them every other weekend.

I know he still loves me and has remained faithful. I don't know how to go about my problems that are creating this rift. I get so mad sometimes and assume too many things. I don't want to be like this anymore. I want to work this out. He hasn't filed for divorce, but he hasn't said he wants to work it out either.

I've been depressed about all this and I feel like I'm falling apart. I don't know how to deal with this. Please, refrain from rude comments. I prefer mature answers. I am a sensitive person so no rude answers please. I am trying to seek counseling, but haven't found any yet.
