I'm curious but is FSM considered a real God? I never heard of this before I came to R&S?
Oh! I mean there are so many religions out there now, it's hard to tell sometimes.
I have never heard of Pastafarians (sorry if I spelled that wrong), but is this a real religion or what? I'm curious because I have never heard of it before. How long has it been around and what is it all about?

Well yes and no
Pastafarianism was originally created to point out how creationism is flawed and silly. But people nowadays actually believe it

Pastafarians were first based in Italy. They have a system of belief based on the worship of Cheeses Christ. This is because they believe he blessed them with the "divine" noodle which they worship to this day.As a show of their faith, they eat it every day,no matter how bland and flavourless.Their cult has successfully brainwashed many others to pay outragious prices to eat it at restaurants that are unable to make real food.

It's not a real religion. It was made to mock the Kansas' school board decision to teach creationism in Biology class.

No it's supposed to be a joke for atheists..I guess because religions believe in God without proof, they make up some God..to mock the others.

Pastafarianism has as much evidence to support its god as any other religion.

It was a retaliation from a college professor told he had to teach "Creation". Since the state didn't specify WHAT creation story he had to teach, he made up his own to mock the state.

no. It is a joke that was made up to protest a decision made by a public school board in Kansas to teach creationism in biology class. An angry parent made up the FSM and a story to go along with it and demanded that it also be taught because it had as much testable evidence as "intelligent design". Somehow it got REALLY popular.
