creative product registration hijacked the PC?

Question

My kids PC ( an E machine with Vista) has been hijacked by creative corps registration process.  Even if we register theproduct 9whch we don't know what it could have been) it continualy cycles from "gentle reminder to Creative product registration to detecint to welcome page and back again over and over and over, it cause the PC to freeze if you try to use another online website.  I cannot find the exe file to delete it; I have tried everything from dragging to recycle to delete

Sometimes a virus is almost or impossible to destroy, unless your an expert. I would transfere all important info to the D drive and restore computer to origional factory settings. Then install the latest mcafee software. Verizon has a good virus program but you need to have there service unless you know somone who has the disk.

Boot into safe mode and then go to the control panel and under programs and features look for and uninstall anything from Creative Corps. Also check your startup programs by clickig on the orb and typing msconfig into the search box, hit enter, hit continue and select the Startup tab, unchck anyting in there from Creative Corps as well. reboot and see if that cured it.

Once you have stopped the bad behaviour get and run Ccleaner and do a registry scan.
