Using smelling salts to wake up in class?
I am taking a class this semester and I often feel drowsy and cannot pay attention and take notes. I try everything, but nothing can pull me out of drowsiness. I have plenty of rest and drank coffee. I am planning on buying some smelling salt to wake up during class. I am only going to take minute puffs and I don't plan on doing it often. Only during lectures. I was wondering if there was any significant health or other consequences I should be worried about.

it's probably the professor. It's either you pay attention in class and talk your mind into doing so, like constantly write notes, or fall asleep but bring a recorder to class so that you can listen to the lecture during the time which you feel most awake which kind of sucks bc you'll have to listen to it again. Maybe while you're feeling drowsy think of how important this class is if you want to actually succeed in life. Every class is important.

don't eat heavy meals right before class, and drink lots of water.
