Yes he did say that and he lied. he also lied about being able to keep your private insurance plan, he lied about illegals not being covered, he lied about rationing, wait, it's will quicker to list the things he hasn't lied about. ..I've got nothing.

The real goal of this healthcare bill is not "covering" everyone with health insurance because the CBO estimates that we will still have more than 20 million people not covered by insurance. If that is the case, then why do this bill at all? It's about the government having control over more and more people. Otherwise other cheaper and more effective solutions would be advanced. Tort reform would be a good start but the lawyers are the largest democrat donors so that won't happen. Allowing insurance companies to "compete" across state lines would help but the insurance companies donate alot of money. Do you notice a pattern here? Pelosi insisting on government funded abortions is just the libs trying to advance an agenda. It's all a big lie!!!

Forget that, Planned Parenthood gets money and Sen. McCaskill gets about $500,000* from the abortion group. Bill Clinton was a corporate man and helped the country, now nothing is going on. No roads or jobs.

The Democrats are acting like little kids. I remember the Republicans passed Clinton's court appointments and then later under a Republican they stabbed them in the back.

Not all democrats are that insane, but to look like Pelosi and go "tee hee" is nuts.

Granted the lobbyists are donating over $3.2 billion* to the House and Senate members in 2008 and that will go a long way. By the way the Drug bill was suppose to cost $500 billion over ten years according to the CBO, but after it was signed the CBO admitted they made a 100% mistake and it would be over a trillion bucks.

Hey the insurance lobbies only;u had to pay $50 million to get out of a $100 billion in obligations a year and the health care people have donated HALF A BILLION BUCKS , so you can bet this bill will be full of pork and great for them.

The bill is 1,018 pages, 2,541 sections and really they need to get the people or framers who wrote it before it got to the congress to explain what is in it. Remember it was to save about 75,000 a year that perish due to no insurance, but most doctors and medical places have said that is hog wag, but if it is true why do they want 300,000 to perish.

In closing he did say Gitmo would be closed and that the cop was stupid. ha, ha. But hopefully the Republicans will fight the fight and the "blue dog" Democrats will save the day as any one of these big things get passed the country heads into depression.

yeah i heard about that too but i don't know how true it is, there has been a lot of rumors about the health care bill going around , being spread by those who oppose it. I really hope it isn't true though i'm pro choice but i don't think abortion's should be paid for by tax payers if a women choices to have an abortion she should find a way to pay for that herself.

Obama needs to walk the walk and have Pelosi and Reed spell out what items are not in the Health Care Plan. If it not written, it's not there. This is the promise of not have abortions.

it's the law in this country that the government cannot fund abortions! i can't recall the name of the act from which this law was passed right now and i will look it up to give you the name of the act but, i had to answer this question now because this is fact really! i did vote for Obama and i'm not too happy with him right now either but, this is just another example of spreading around false statements that stops people from getting the facts. now i can't wait to see all the thumbs down i'm going to get for this answer because i happen to disagree. i've got the name of the act it's called the haydt act! thank you justagra.... for giving the right name of the amendment that prohibits federal funding for abortions! i was close though lol!

Obama hasn't been clear on anything and it's been really difficult for Americans to believe anything that comes out of his mouth. He has already betrayed many of his supporters and has left conservative and moderate Americans out in the cold on many of his policies. He claimed he was going to cut taxes and raised them. He claimed he was going to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term and numbers show that he'll add more to the deficit than any President in American history. This is just another example of Washington liberals not being on the same page and Obama not being honest with the American people. Obama promised unity and there's has been nothing but dissension and confusion.

Obama lied, just as Joe Wilson stated. Not only are they working towards including abortions the bill will also include illegals. Looking at two court cases (CA, TX) regarding public schools excluding illegals were both lost in favor of the illegals- you can not provide for some and deny others. Just you wait and see how much they have claimed will not be in the bill and how we can keep our physicians and blah blah blah, it will be just the opposite. Reid came up with a provision that would allow states to "opt out" yet the catch is you will still be taxed for it and pay dearly for those states that take it. The Con Men in Washington DC are ruthless!

He will lie through his teeth to gain control over our economy, our freedom and our rights. He doesn't even need the law on his side. He is destroying the Constitution with every move he makes.

There is so much hidden in the health care bill that it would take an office full of attorneys to untangle this web of deceit.
