An attorney with this gift would be phenomenal.
He could quote case law (which is a form of history) and win alot of his cases while his adversaries are still trying to figure things out.

Not real sure, but it is an asset that could be put to use in many careers. Trade negotiations for example. Having an insight to a countries history would also give you a feel for the culture as well. So opening trade relations would be much easier with this insight.
