Not so looney afterall
I think it is interesting to ask questions that stir things up, but I really don't take myself, or yahoo answers, very seriously.
Is this how republicans like their RNC donations spent?
READ:
Finance documents show that the Republican National Committee spent nearly $2,000 last month at "a bondage-themed nightclub featuring topless women dancers imitating lesbian sex."
That is one of the many incredible expenditures reported by The Daily Caller, a conservative Web site. The Daily Caller's piece outlines the high-spending ways of RNC Chairman Michael Steele. Steele, the former lieutenant governor of Maryland, has spent much of his first year as RNC chief fending off controversy — and the latest Federal Elections Commission filings on the group's expenditures are sure to send him back into damage-control mode. According to The Daily Caller, two sources say he floated the possibility of the RNC buying him a private jet. He also spent tens of thousands of dollars at luxury hotels in Washington, Hawaii, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, and the RNC spent $17,000 on chartered flights and $12,000 on limousines in February alone, according to the FEC reports.

Haha- can't spend any money on health care because it takes away from the strip club budget???
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy don't cheating men learn from each other's mistakes?
I mean, Bill Clinton, John Edwards, yada yada yada, Sanford, Tiger Woods... They all leave such huge "virtual" trails... Are they really that stupid or is the penis mightier than the brain?
27 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow could Sarah Palin ever handle a real job (w/o quitting) if she is still whining?
about the Katie Couric interview. Initial book reviews (just google it for lots of links) are claiming the book is about Ronald Reagan (whom she seems to adore more than Toddo) and that she is still boo-hooing her interview with Katie Couric... I mean, if you cannot handle Katie Couric, can you handle North Korea?
Ms. Palin, GET OVER YOURSELF!
10 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy is Sarah Palin scared to take her book tour to the cities with the smartest people?
Is it because she knows she can only impress idiots?
30 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIf the repubs hated the health care plan so much, why didn't they create a REAL plan themselves?
I read the democrats plan, and the republicans 250 page outline. The outline did not present any real information. Why didn't the repubs try harder, because like it or not, national health care is going to be a reality in this country.
20 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoAre Rush and other repubs liars for saying that the healthcare bill, just endorsed by the AARP, hurts medicare?
OR did they just not read the bill????
From AARP.com:
AARP, the 40-million-member association of older Americans, today announced its endorsement of the sweeping House health care reform bill. The organization’s backing is seen as a major boost for one of the bills that aims to overhaul the nation’s health care, and it comes as Democratic lawmakers are preparing to bring the measure to the floor for a vote.
AARP says it supports the House bill over other proposals because the measure does more to lower drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries, strengthen Medicare and bar insurance companies from denying people coverage because of their health or age. The bill also would lower premiums for Americans ages 50 to 64 who have to buy insurance in the private market.
The AARP endorsement is important because older Americans have been on the front lines in the health care battle, with insurance companies and lobbying groups spending millions in the past months to influence their opinions, sometimes generating misinformation about how health care reform would affect Medicare. Today’s endorsement marks the first time in this legislative battle that AARP has put its full weight behind a comprehensive health care reform package. In the coming days, AARP will be educating its members about the health care reform package through its publications, paid advertising and more than five million calls and e-mails to its grassroots activists.
26 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy don't some republicans admit that if a preggywomen can't pay for an abortion, then she can't afford a kid?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091103/ap_on_bi_ge/us...
Okay, the woman doesn't have an abortion because she can't afford it, but then winds up having a baby and throwing into a trash dump. Is that really a better scenario?
15 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo conservative women have sexual fantasies about Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck?
Are they groupies?
1 AnswerPolitics1 decade agoShouldn't Dan Brown's new book use Cheney as the role model for the villain?
He wouldn't have to change a thing about Cheney- even his name is slimy...
5 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow can Cheney criticize Obama for stalling on Afghan. when the Bush admin did NOTHING about it for 8 years?
And Cheney said they left an action plan, but the obama admin. says the plan sucked so they had to start over-now that I believe!
19 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy doesn't Rush read the whole article before he rants about it?
omg- I listened to Rush yesterday because I was curious. He read a comment from an article on cancer testing and started ranting before reading the whole article. As he read on, you could tell he realized that he kinda agreed with the article so he backtracked and blamed the article on what Obama is trying to do with healthcare and I thought, "What is this man on? I thought he was clean now." Honestly, he sounds like a lunatic.
16 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWill Rush be able to hold onto his job against the new Republican group Repulicans Against Rush?
It's one thing for him to fight Obama and the dems, but what about the Repulicans?
14 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIs Liz Cheney just plain old jealous that her warmongering father did not win the Nobel Peace Prize?
I couldn't believe it yesterday on Fox when she said President Obama should send the mother of a soldier to accept the peace prize when it's her father (w/ puppet Bush) who started the whole dang war to begin with!
17 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDo you think Rush Limbaugh enjoyed winning the "Piz-za Pie" on Saturday Night Live last night?
That was so great because he talked last week about how funny SNL was about Obama the Saturday before, and then SNL reamed him this Saturday. Can't wait to hear what he thinks about that!
7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoDems, did you receive this email from Prez Obama?
Name --
This morning, Michelle and I awoke to some surprising and humbling news. At 6 a.m., we received word that I'd been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009.
To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize -- men and women who've inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace.
But I also know that throughout history the Nobel Peace Prize has not just been used to honor specific achievement; it's also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes.
That is why I've said that I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations and all peoples to confront the common challenges of the 21st century. These challenges won't all be met during my presidency, or even my lifetime. But I know these challenges can be met so long as it's recognized that they will not be met by one person or one nation alone.
This award -- and the call to action that comes with it -- does not belong simply to me or my administration; it belongs to all people around the world who have fought for justice and for peace. And most of all, it belongs to you, the men and women of America, who have dared to hope and have worked so hard to make our world a little better.
So today we humbly recommit to the important work that we've begun together. I'm grateful that you've stood with me thus far, and I'm honored to continue our vital work in the years to come.
Thank you,
President Barack Obama

5 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoBetween dissing the Chicago olympics loss and Prez Obama's prize, can Repubs disgrace our country any further?
For example, the olympics would have brought lots of money and jobs to the U.S. Even if they weren't until 2016, the planning, design, and building would have started NOW. That would have meant JOBS NOW.
Next, this award can be viewed as a healing from the disatrous world reputation we had under the Bush administration. So, isn't our President receiving this award a good thing for America?
Discuss. Intelligently.
