This business starts in the U.S. where I'm writing from, around the end of September. Of course, the whole world knows we are such a consumer- and materialistic-oriented society. People are freaking out because they're about to lose their homes, but by golly, by gosh, we'd better buy a whole lot of stuff. What I want to know is and maybe someone from the U.S. or any other country can tell me, when did it all become about the freakin' presents and what you can buy? Ever hear of making something on your own?

I can't speak for all Americans, but in my family we just do or make things for each other, enjoy our time together, and that's the way its always been. Oh, we do send cards to others who can't be with us, and we make them ourselves.

Yes, they have started here in the U.S. The shopping channels on tv have been selling Christmas things for a couple of months now (They even do "Christmas in July" shows). I've noticed an increase in the number of Christmas movies on tv, and the stores started putting out their Christmas items in August. Last year, I saw Valentine's Day items for sale next to Christmas stuff! I hate it.

ok, this is realllllly simple! You know how if you twist your hair up it eventuallys coils into a bun? Well, take you bangs, if you have them, otherwise use the part of hair that would be bangs, and tease it up, smooth it over by lighty combing it on the top layer, bobby pin this so u have a little poof on top of you head. [the coiled double bun look] next, take your hair and divide it so you have two layers, a top and a bottom, twist your top layer at the back of your head, pin with a bunch of bobby pins. do the same bun with the bottom layer right under the first one. make sure they are touching, otherwise it wont look good! [the side bun] curl your hair all over, they don't have to be perfect. loosen the curls by scrunching them up with ur hands and messing with them. then take your hair and gather it into a kinda messy ponytail where u want your bun to be. spray with hair spray, and after it dries push your curls towards you head and randomly pin around the base of the pony. shape it with the pins into a bun on the side of your head. you can add a cute little clip with a flower on it taddaaaaa finished! if u want anymore ideas just send me an email :)

Nope, they are however starting to set up the Christmas sections in stores like Wal-Mart... too early if you ask me.

  • Not on tv but there are a few things at the stores.
