Is this tattoo possible?
I would like to get a very small heart tattoo that could be mistaken for a freckle or a birthmark. I am getting it as a tribute to all the seemingly insignificant and overlooked hearts of aborted babies. I would like it to be the same light brown colour and approximate size of my natural freckles. Is this possible?
I am planning on adopting. And I like the idea of the ten week old footprints. Perhaps I will get one of the size of the heart at ten weeks. And I don't really care about the money. It's meant to be a silent tribute, for all of those who will remain silent.

miss. just looked at your question out of curiosity. i was adopted in the 1940s. the emotion when i seen your question was overwhelming. very very original thought. pure class and respect. yes it can be done. the meaning is original. a great artist super super discount. your selection is what art is about. to the people who had the nerve to disrespect this young lady. she has more class a better person than any of you will ever be. in my 60s know. parents deceased. you brought a lot of love out. both to my birthmother who allowed me to have the greatest parents a person could ever have. although i never met her. i would have loved to thank her for her sacrifice. brought great memories of my mother and father. please please have this piece done. try to find older artist. unlike some of the misfits who answered he will understand the greatness of your piece and your great humanity. i have nothing but pity for those with the ignorant answers. stay strong. you have a great life ahead of you. got this old guy high emotions. thank tou for being a great strong woman. i wish you the best.

most decent artists would refuse to do something like that. if you were to do it the size of an average freckle, it would be too small to have any identifiable shape. it would look like a dot, or just like any other freckle. you would have to make it at least a half or quarter inch at best to make it work out, but even at that size its bound to distort into nothing but a blob faster than a normal size tat.
i know you say money is no issue, but most shops have a minimum payment of about 50 bucks. think about it. you would be paying 50 bucks for another freckle. just go lay in the sun and you can get that for free.
besides, im sure you can find a freckle somewhere on your body that might slightly resemble a heart.
good luck with it.

It will end up looking awful in a few years. When you go that small w/ a tattoo, it ends up looking like a smudge/blob. What happens is the ink will spread into the skin, and when you have such a small design, you will loose the definition since a tattoo that small is all detail. I commend you on your idea, but if what you're looking for is a tattoo that someone else can recognize as a "heart" or "footprints", bigger is better.

Yes, but it would fade over time. It will still cost you the same flat rate that a tattoo shop would charge for an hours worth of work. It's pretty much a waste of your money to do that and no one will even know it's there. Instead, try getting one maybe a little bigger in a non noticeable spot.

If it was, that would be amazing. Im pretty sure It could be done. Or, you should try getting the footprints of 10 week old babies (well, I have a pin like that to stop abortion) their really tiny. I just realized how creepy that sounded, but it wouldn't be.

I think tattoos are my hobbie and i have about 13 and not done But i think if you are going to get one it should be a BIG size one i worked a at a tattoo shop and they are very fun to get but when you get one it should be something you can live with for the rest of your life I am a girl and have a sleve and love it and want more

To pay tribute to the overlooked hearts of aborted babies, you are going to get a tattoo of a heart that is designed to be overlooked? Seriously?

I'm not a big fan of tattoos but that's a nice idea. And yes I'm pretty sure it's possible.

I'd get it big enough where it won't bleed and blob over time. Small tattoos tend to do that.

why dont you just opt for a tattoo of a freckle or birthmark in the shape of a fetus. thats good camouflage for ya
