What gifts do your cats bring you?

I mean besides the occasional hairball or litterbox gifts of course. I've been feeding a feral outside for almost 10 years (she's still very shy and I've never been able to pet her). But the other day I went to put her food out and there was a dead shrew next to the bowl! Like she left it for me since I feed her every day. That's the first time that has happened. Besides the occasional bird or chipmunk we find out in the yard we've never seen her hunt anything.

I went and picked it up with a towel and there she was, watching me! So as not to offend her, I took it indoors where she couldn't see and threw it away, wrapped up the trash and put it outside in the can. When I was putting the bag away she was looking pretty happy with herself and taking a bath! Like she was thinking "I knew she'd like it!"

What surprises has your kitty (or kitties) brought you that was totally unexpected?

Aww thats sooo cute!!! My cat usually brings me shrews, and I do the same as you secretly bin it! I always give her lots of praise and cuddles as a thank you and she usually ends up looking pretty smug with herself!

Youve got a great bond with your kitty xx

All my cats leave me are Chickadee skull caps. Everything else they catch is either eaten by them or they deliver it to the dog. And although the dog ran wild for about 4 months before he was captured he is showing less and less interest in the food they bring him.

Used to be that there would at least be a half eaten mouse or ground squirrel at the door for me, but no more. And I am absolutely heartbroken (sic) about that.

I have two outside cats male and female(both fixed). They have brought me bunnies, birds, rats and mice. They always leave it on the door step half eaten or just dead! I'm not sure why they eat them cuz i do feed them. But i think it's funny!

My cat is indoor, but she still brings presents like ponytails and her 'baby,' which is a rabbit fur almost as long as she is. Although she hasn't done this in a while...probably has something to do with adopting another dog

lots of the flaws that animals do are rather mind-blowing. Our cats use to deliver abode vairous animals/aspects, to no longer our feet yet omitted interior the open, it replaced into gross yet touching.
