Add Catholics. We freak them out with our rosary beads and delicious pot roast.

I don't know where you got your information or if you just assumed this but it is not correct.

I am a Christian and I fear no one or nothing but God.

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

    Hebrews 10:31

Maybe you misunderstood the difference between fearing something and being against something. In my beliefs we don't celebrate Halloween, and we believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven and the Father so other faiths that do not teach this are not biblical. And wrong. Yes I know that is a bad word to some people "wrong" but if two faiths say two different things, one has to be wrong.

As a Christian I also believe that someone who is gay is not born that way but has chosen to live a lifestyle that does not line up with what God says is acceptable.

Are gay people evil and the most horrible people in the world? No I don't believe that I just believe they are in sin just like I was in my fornication, drunkeness, etc... but it is sin and wrong.

Secularism assumes that religion is not good for human progression, when in reality apart from a true relationship with God mankind is hopeless.

I have no problem with mainline christians as long as they hold to the fundamental truths of scripture and do not introduce heresy or blasphemy to their followers.

I think fear is the wrong word.

Mainline Christians... what is that? Okay with them I guess.

    Secularism has its advantages.

those who celebrate different faiths or no faith I see as an opportunity.

Gay people need to be loved and evangelized (like everyone else)

Halloween is a great way for kids to get free candy.

I don't really know about "Fundamentalists" but Christians should never fear anything/anyone. To fear God however means to respect Him and His law and never to stray from His Path. It's not to fear and be afraid but it's fear to respect. So when a Christian says, "I fear God", it doesn't mean you have to go to a corner and weep because of fear but it's the different fear with respect.

I doubt their is to many fundamentalist Christians on yahoo answers.

I myself am a Christian, but many of my friends are actually fundamentalist. Their parents rather dislike me because they believe that I'll make them lose faith which is BS seeing as I am Christian.

I believe fundamentalists fear atheists because they believe deep down that they are in danger of not believing themselves. Which to me means they do not have enough faith.

As for gay people, it's against the bible. That's why they hate it. I myself think this is foolish, but I have gay friends so I could just be bias.

And Halloween comes from a pagan religion. This goes against the bible once more. So they try to refrain for the feel it will put them in hell.

1). Apathy. 2). Distorted Truth. 3). Except for Authentic Christianity, 'they' worship a false god. 4). Romans 1:18-32. 5). Depends on your 'motives'.

    Ummm, none of the above,

I guess all of the atheists and agnostics project that fundamentalists fear everything. I think atheists & agnostics fear morality in many forms.

I am not a fundamentalist, just a regular Christian. So I don't fear any of these. But I know that many fundamentalists do fear these things, and many others, and I feel sorry for them. My Christianity saves me from fear, not increases it.

You're welcome in advance, and Shalom to you too!
