should i expect the best but prepare for the worst when it comes to 12-2012?

I think that people are mean and cruel when they answer to things like this; but honestly nobody can be certain to what happens in the future- and with the fact everything on the Mayan calendar so far has come true.. yet that's not necessarily the future documentation end of the world, that's just the end of the calendar I think- maybe that's wrong. But I am but a mere 15 year old girl.

My opinion on on the topic is that I would want to be safe and listen to everything everyone says about things like this. Sure, it could be real. All I can say is really live your life the way you want to live it :) because in the end, no matter how close or distant that seems its out of our control anyway.

There's people ALL OVER that report the same happenings and even visions of the same things you say- even more in depth and truly intriguing but really, how can we stop the end of the earth? My Popi always says to live every day to a fill, if you do not, you just lost a day. (pardon the wording we don't speak english)

F.E.M.A. Won't help people when it comes down to it- they are people too. swine flu and the 'anti christ' as they call our president. there's constand emergencies and they are continuing to get closer and harder together, call me crazy- I consider them warnings.

This is my personal view of 2012:

I feel that there is too much evidence to ignore that something is going to happen in the year 2012. there are to many proficy for the year 2012 than any pther day in history..ive had dreams for years about the end so has my wife. for some reason i feel the actual date is wrong tho..the myans were know to be a few days or even minute as a few hours off such as the rise and fall of Jupiter for over 400 years..I think something will crank up around 12-12-12..why? dont know my dreams have become more vivid and i feel strongly that major events will happen on this day..i had a dream of several people being killed and i saw there faces as middle eastern..i told my wife that on 10-25-09 lots of people would die..she said why and i said i dont know i just feel it..well on that day there was a larger than normal bomb in Baghdad..i feel dates are very significant in this day..just think exactly 30 days to the date the Dallas bomb plot was foiled..if we just open are eyes and believe we can stop many things from occurring..we only use 10% of our minds, WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF WE TAP INTO ANOTHER 10% ? Just to show you what i mean,in the first week of November there will be major death and destruction.. i haven't been able to narrow down where yet but i will try and post it..this will be my proof..just think 1 year ago i was a deputy sheriff with 5 years experience and know i dream , dreams of the future..use your instincts never ignore them , this saved my life once in the line of duty..its called intuition..your not crazy and alot of people will laugh..my plan is too take my family to ashville , nc in the month of november 2012 because it is 1 mile above sea level and i dont want to stay here in florida and drowed with my family cause it WILL happen.JUST LOOK AT YOUR LAST FEW SENTENCES YOU SAID "do you believe in Dec. 12, 2012" THAT WRITTEN IN SHORT FORM IS 12-12-12 .. your not crazy or paranoid..if you are than so is 75% of the population that believes something will happen..listen to yourself and SURVIVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you are Christian and I think you are you should read the verse in the Bible where Jesus himself says: When the end will come, no one will know. Not even the angels or the son but only the father.

Second, the book of revelations says a bit of the signs that will be before the end comes:

Rebuild of the hebrew temple in Jerusalem (that has yes to happen)

Uniting most of the nations under two major organisations (this is actually happening)

Introduction of a identification mark for each person that will be inserted on the hand or on the forehead ( There are people who want this to happen, but hopefully it won't happen to soon)

Earthquakes, disease, and darkness... all these could associated with the fall of a great meteor (there are approximately 1700 large enough and close enough to be a danger)

But these are all but signs, nothing more. And as long as you are prepared in your heart for the day of the judgement you should not fear anything.

So do not listen to dates like that, they are all stupid. Just be prepared , and that is enough.nd BTW swine flu is in my opinion just an economical trick. Don't be so frightened!

I think you´re really over-reacting. Yeah the world is gonna end all right, just like it did back at midnite of New Years Eve 1999, and on 6/6/06 and 7/7/07...

If it will set your mind at ease, put together a disaster preparedness kit (3 months worth of non-perishable food, water, and supplies) like the Red Cross recommends that you should have regardless of any silly premonitions.

Speaking on a Christian level, should expect that Christ could return any day [and the events that follow that]. I don't care how clever the Mayan calender is or whatever the next hot thing is...NOBODY not even Bible Scholars know when it is going to happen. There may be signs of the times, but the time of when it occurs can only be speculated.

So in that respect. Live intentionally today because we are not promised tommorrow.

12/2012 is based on the Mayan culture, not yours. And even they are sick of hearing about this. Christians have taken something from the Mayan calendar and blown it out of proportion in order to instigate more "judgment day" talk, and to fear people into becoming religious. The Mayan calandar simple ends part of their historical time on that date, it's the "end of the 4th sun" and the "beginning of the 5th sun" or something like that. It doesn't say anything about the end of the world. Here read this
