My dishwasher beeps during the dry cycle?
For like an hour! It's a GE Profile Performance. How do I shut the stupid thing up so I can think? I have to use the heated dry.
(If anyone says something stupid like "shut it off" I am going to get annoyed. I want to disable the alarm, not work around it.)

Generic problem for all Dishwashers
Dishwasher beeping during dry cycle
have a GE dishwasher (gsd5500g00bb) and had to replace the ESCUTCHEON & INSERT ASM (part 901) which meant that I had to take the front panel apart.
I got the escutcheon in correctly, however the spring timer lever (part 837) and lever (part 861) popped out. I believe these parts are underneath the Sequence Switch (part 904 ). I put it in how I thought was correct by holding down the dishwasher soap dispenser in the closed position and then closed the two parts of the front panel.
I'm concerned that I may not have put the two parts back together correctly and that the switch may be in the wrong location. I can't find a diagram online of what it looks like or fits together. Nor do I have a user manual as this is a rental property.
The soap dispenser would not open all the way, but I was able to put in the soap and close the dispenser.
The dishwasher ran fine until it got to the drying cycle and then started beeping. And ideas?
I turned off the dishwasher and the soap dispenser was wide open as it should be. However, it is very difficult to close it. I don't know if it's related to the issue at all.
