abandoned car in ireland?

how do i obtain ownership of an abandoned car in ireland?

i've already been in touch with the owner and he has no papers or interest in the car or getting the papers for it.

i have the keys, vin and other details on it

Update:

ive tried to get in contact since getting the keys but he's uncontactable at the moment

    you need some type of release from the owner

    ASK THE GUY FOR BILL OF SALE SAYING THAT HE "SOLD" IT TO YOU
