How did Christ endorse the seventh day of the week as a day of worship?
@ No Fixed Address:
Make up your mind. Is Sunday the first day or the seventh day of the week?
Jesus did not rise from the dead on the seventh day of the week, which is Saturday. He rose on the first day of the week, Sunday. Friday is the 6th day of the week, not Saturday.
The Gospel writers wanted to show that Jesus rose when He said that He would i.e. on the third day which in this case was Sunday. Jesus' appearing on Sunday does not in any way change the Sabbath from being the Saturday. If Sunday had become the most important day for the church, how come Paul who still worshiped on the seventh day Sabbath? He preached to the Gentiles on the seventh day Sabbath.
Acts 20:7: Do church services last until midnight? And Paul and the others were gathered not in the temple but in a private home.
No need to attack the SDAs. We worship on the day God rested and blessed and made holy. He never made Sunday holy.
Sunday can't be both the first and the seventh day.

The creation week, God rested on the 7th day..
The Ten Commandments....the 4th Remember The Sabbath Day and Keep It Holy.
As was his custom on The Sabbath he entered into the Temple...
Even in death Christ rested on The Sabbath and arose the first day of the week to continue of his work of salvation....
If you love me keep my commandments....
In Revelation it mentions that we shall observe the Sabbath in heaven..
For what reason would the Sabbath need to be changed from the day that God created and blessed???

He rose from the dead on the seventh day of the week, which is Sunday. to be more clear, Jesus did not rise from the dead on Saturday, the 6th day of the week.
Matt. 28:1; Mark 16:2,9; John 20:1,19- the Gospel writers purposely reveal Jesus' resurrection and appearances were on Sunday. This is because Sunday had now become the most important day in the life of the Church.
Modern Judaizing cults think that Sunday, the day Jesus rose from the dead, is less important than the opinions of an occultist female by the name of Ellen White, who invented falsehoods about 100 years ago.
Acts 20:7 - this text shows the apostolic tradition of gathering together to celebrate the Eucharist on Sunday, the "first day of the week." This is Sunday, not Saturday. the Seventh Day Adventists are dead wrong.
1 Cor. 16:2 - Paul instructs the Corinthians to make contributions to the churches "on the first day of the week," which is Sunday. This is because the primary day of Christian worship is Sunday. But not if you follow the occultist Ellen White, who made insane prophecies about governments forcing everyone to worship on Sunday. My Sunday obligation is fulfilled by going to Church on Saturday anyway, so the SDA's are twice wrong.
On the Lord's own day, assemble in common to break bread and offer thanks, but first confess your sins so that your sacrifice may be pure."
Didache, 14 (A.D. 90).
"If, therefore, those who were brought up in the ancient order of things have come to the possession of a new hope, no longer observing the Sabbath, but living in the observance of the Lord's Day, on which also our life has sprung up again by Him and by His death--whom some deny, by which mystery we have obtained faith, and therefore endure, that we may be found the disciples of Jesus Christ, our only Master."
Ignatius, To the Magnesians, 9:1 (A.D. 110).
"The seventh day, therefore, is proclaimed a rest--abstraction from ills--preparing for the Primal Day,[The Lord's Day] our true rest; which, in truth, is the first creation of light, in which all things are viewed and possessed. From this day the first wisdom and knowledge illuminate us. For the light of truth--a light true, casting no shadow, is the Spirit of God indivisibly divided to all, who are sanctified by faith, holding the place of a luminary, in order to the knowledge of real existences. By following Him, therefore, through our whole life, we become impossible; and this is to rest."
Clement of Alexandria, Stromata, 6:16 (A.D. 202).
Seventh Day Adventists don't believe anything the early Christians wrote, just the opinions of their cult leaders.

Edict of Constantine A.D. 321
"On Sunday, the venerable day of the Sun let the Magistrates and the people residing in the cities rest, and let all workshops be closed."

One should worship daily not just one day of the week regardless of what day is chosen.
