the most user friendly is wordpress. its easy to learn and offers a lot of different functions and widgets. the community is huge and support is very helpful. pick what you want to talk about and go for it. it will take a little practice trying to find your inner blog style, but you will get there. start with a topic and go from there. another free blog site is blogspot.com. you can also buy a domain directly from wordpress or buy one from godaddy and forward it to your wordpress URL. another good thing is it creates RSS feeds to your site automatically so people outside of the blog community can subscribe to your postings.
