    Hello Peace and Quiet,

what I can do is to recommend you a FREE tutor ."Deutsche Welle": the lessons are easy to comprehend, have exercises and also audios. So you can save them on ur cell phone or mp3/4 and always listen and you can become accustomed to the pronounciation of the words! :) (audios). The files of the lessons are pdf format!

There are 2 moduls: Deutsch - warum nicht? and Deutsch - wieso nicht?!

On the left side of the site you will see : German courses, so there it is!

    Good luck with it

    livemocha.com

its a free social networking that provides both the lessons and people to interact with, practice with, and guide you.

I'm currently learning Finnish through the site, and I did some German this summer as I am taking a course this year (along with formal spanish courses).

But its a great site. and FREE.

The livemocha German course is not very good, but it will do for a beginner - be warned, there are some mistakes in the course material, but the lessons are not boring, and you will certainly profit from the access it gives you to loads of native speakers who are prepared to correct and help you.

    I would recommend

    http://german.about.com/od/onlinecourses/Lessons_a...

    and

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/german/lj/

    and for the grammar:

    http://class.georgiasouthern.edu/german/grammar/gr...

Don't bother with Rosetta, even if you have money to spend, it's not good in teaching you German grammar.
