Can dogs drink hot tea with honey and lemon?

I left the room for 2 minutes and my maltese/poodle drank my hot tea with honey & lemon. Should I be worried? Should I take him to the hospital? Not sure if the little guy is going to get a reaction to it. Any suggestions?

    Can Dogs Drink Tea

Some dogs will eat or drink about anything. i can't believe that tea, honey or lemon could be bad. Watch her and I think you will see that she will be o.k. If she is going to react...it should be quickly. If she hasn't already, then I would not be too worried. I am not a vet but really think she will be fine.

sugar (honey) is never great for a dog but she will be ok...have her drink lots of water if possible. I found about 25 candy wrappers (choc) behind my sofa and my golden was ok. They were the bite-size chocolate , thank goodness

It won't hurt him. If it has caffeine he might be a little wired for a while but he'll be fine. Of course if he starts acting strangely, call your vet and ask.

I suppose they can have it occasionally. As with humans, dogs need to get hydrated too. It is very important for their health.
