Are these minor cold sores?

There is just 2 or 3 small red patches directly under(not on) my lip. There's also one a bit under my lip and a little to the side that's been there for a couple weeks. I'm not too worried about it at all I'm just wondering if these could be cold sores and what causes cold sores. Thanks

P.S. there is no bump or blister if that helps at all

    Cold sores are painful blisters. This is probably just dry skin.

    What cause cold sores is:

    -sun exposure

    -weakened immune system

    -menstruating

    -stress

    i'm sure there are more but these are the ones i know of.

    If there isnt an bumps, then is probably isnt a cold sore.
