Lack compassion for an innocent child are you serious? You're calling Madeline's parents victims.
Hmmmmm, maybe if Mom or Dad were attacked in the hotel room then yes, but since they decided to let their two year old daughter alone in a hotel room in a foreign country, they deserve no sympathy and they definitely aren't the victims. They should be in jail.

Because she's a child. I would care for any child regardless of what their parents did.

Let's assume, just for a moment, that your unproved assertion that her parents were involved is in fact true.
Why are you BLAMING THE VICTIM?
What's wrong with you that you would say we shouldn't care about an innocent child because you have an opinion about the circumstances of her disappearance?
For all you know, she could be living on a farm in Portugal, after being kidnapped by a crazed farmer and his wife who lost a child. She could have been spirited away to a brothel in Saudi Arabia.
We just don't KNOW what happened to the little girl.

Gee, why don't you just go tell the police what happened if it's so obvious? I'm sure it hasn't even occurred to them, and it's not like they haven't done a massive investigation or anything...
