What's your problem? Favre said he was retiring in March, 2007. They then made plans to get Rodgers involved. Then Favre wanted to come back. That's the third time he did that. Favre''s a really good QB but he's a neurotic attention craver.

Yes. Brett Favre retired at the end of the 2007 season and Thompson and McCarthy asked him 3 times in the spring if he was coming back and 3 times he said no and then right at the start of training camp and after the Packers had drafted 2 QB's Favre wants to come back and play after Rodgers put in all the off season work. The Packers told Favre he could come in and compete for the starting QB job and he didn't want to and told McCarthy that he wanted to play for the Vikings so,naturally they traded him to the Jets so he wouldn't be playing for a division rival. Thompson took over a team depleted on talent from GM Mike Sherman's bad decisions and had a team that was 4-12 in 2005 go to 13-3 in 2007 and in the NFC Championship game. Right now the Packers are going through growing pains with a young team, especially the o-line and a new defensive scheme but, they have a good young QB, good WR's and decent RB's and at times when they execute it right, their offense is unstoppable and at times not very good and even though being sacked 31 times this season, Rodgers still leads the league in QB rating and has 14 TD passes and only 2 int's. so if they get better on the o-line they should be alright.

no the gangs of greenbay will put a nine in his butt.
Vikings fans are happy that Thompson is the packers. he doesn't believe in offensive lines, this is the best record they will ever have with this guy, in a few years they will be worse than the Lions.
Thompson stay in greenbay for ever, we would rather have you there than Millen.
