How do I reinstall a saved backup of my registry if there is a problem after I make a change in it?

go to run and type in cmd..then type regedt32...go to file then import

You just load that into the registry. You saved off the registry right? Now you just have to re load it (open it up) in the regedit tool.
I'm sure it will verify thats what what you want to do.
Its probably safer to go to your Restore point and restore that.
