I have a blotchy rash all over my torso but I'm meant to be getting my first tattoo tomorrow!?

Hi,

I'm booked in to get my first ever tattoo tomorrow but over the past couple of days I've started to developing a blotchy and itchy red rash all over my torso. It started off as tiny red dots on my stomach - they sort of resembled hives and now it's spread to my thighs, upper stomach, boobs and underneath my arms. Plus, my back is getting itchy too. Is it still safe to have a tattoo when I'm either ill or in the middle of an allergic reaction or should I postpone?

Thanks.

You have to postpone. Artists can't tattoo people with rashes. There are a lot of states that have laws prohibiting an artist from tattooing if they see any sign of skin irritation. Pimples, rashes, open wounds, etc. Call and postpone.

Shave earlier than you move, they cant do it on a fairly bushy aspect, and do you fairly wish any one seeing your bushy legs? lol They may have the whole thing so you do not must carry something rather than ID and cash. As for aftercare, opt for up both tattoo goo or h2ocean tattoo aftercare lotion (your tattoo parlor will even convey those). I opt for them to a+d ointment in view that A:) your tattoo wont odor like a child's butt and B:) you wont holiday out in tine pink bumps in the event you use an excessive amount of. Also, use non-fragrented cleaning soap at the field. The man will positioned seran wrap stuff over it whilst he is performed- wait an hour or two then take it off, lightly wash with the nonfragrence cleaning soap, and positioned the above of your alternative on. And recall to position what ever you decide upon positioned it on approximately five instances during the day. Enjoy =)

If it's still there tomorrow call your tattoo artist and postpone...you definitely should not get a tattoo when your skin isn't ready and you're not completely healthy

you would just be adding to what your body has to heal

Take a Benadryl. It is probably hives from nerves. If Benadryl works then you are good to go. If not, you might want to have your doctor look at it.
