Anyone know when the Public Option bill will go to the floor for a vote?
Without any bias, do the Dems have enough to go it alone?

From all reports it appears that the Health Care Bill will go to the floor for a vote, supposedly on Sunday. According to Pelosi, they have enough votes to pass it. However, I have some hope, as it will be loss of their jobs for those that do. Judging from the November 3, 2009 elections, the public is paying back. From what I heard as a volunteer at a voting station that was labeled Democratic, people are beginning to take control.the following are just a random selection of what the voters were saying: "Obama's words were only words."
'Change is what I have in my pocket ."
"We are in a recession, regardless of what The White House says." "The health care bill is the final nail on America's coffin."
"The government is trying to takeover and the health care bill is going to make that possible."
"I cherish my freedom of speech"
"I voted for Obama looking for a change, but never expected this." "When I left the Republican Party in 2008, I swore that I would never be back, but I am back."
"I voted for change, but not this change."
"Hope Obama and his administration get my message."
These are just some of the things that people were saying at the polls. Perhaps my favorite quote from a voter was, "Well, if those crooks in Washington pass this Public Health Care Bill, they will soon be joining the ranks of the unemployed."
I was expecting The White House to put a spin on that election, but I rolled over in laughter when David Axelrod got on TV and pronounced that the Dems were the winners, as NY had not voted a Dem in for 150 years." LOL! Axelrod has to got be much smarter than that. He must think the public is jump plain stupid.
Personally, I have no doubt about what the voters will do should that health care bill be passed, but one still feels sorry for our corrupt politicians, as jobs are scarce. They, too, have families to feed. It will be interesting to see if they will choose to protect their own @ss.

Before anyone has an adequate opportunity to read and understand it.
If it were just the public option, it wouldn't be quite so bad, but it doesn't stop at an option. It mandates way too much control over everything having to do with how you live. It will grow the size power and cost of government to levels undreamed of by the citizens who have to pay for it.
The Democrats will have to go it alone to get it passed. If they do that, there will be a very heavy price for them to pay and they know that.
I doubt it will pass, but I've learned not to predict anything in politics and also, to never be shocked or surprised at the depths of corruption politicians can stoop to.

Nope. The bill will fail. Thank God to.
