Is there any difference between walking into a crowded room, pulling out a couple of guns, yelling praise to Allah and then opening fire on innocent people or, walking into that same room, yelling praise to Allah and detonating a bomb strapped to your body?

Good question. The first would be seen in America as someone with "mental health issues" , and the second would be viewed as a terrorist. Appearances mean a lot, and that is how I believe this would be perceived by the American public, however, both are acts of terrorism.

Yes. The bomb will kill more people, including the one yelling praise to Allah.

Yes, the number of causalities. And with a hand gun there is always a possibility the assassin will walk away unhurt. With a bomb this is not going to be the case. good luck to you

Is there any difference between a mentally ill American of Palestinian background going into a crowded room and shooting up a bunch of people and a mentally ill American of a different decent doing the same thing?
