  • What is the magic number?

At just below 17 Trillion in debt and this president is not negotiating until he gets even more money to spend that we don't have, I'd love to hear from Democrats what the magic number is. What is the number where you stand up with the rest of us and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!

Is it 20 trillion? 35 trillion? 60 trillion?

What's the magic number so we can just get there and be done with all this once and for all.

  • Is that an imaginary Basketball?

Every time I see Obama talking, he keeps holding up his hands like he's holding an imaginary basketball. Wonder why that is.

  • Here's what I can't understand?

How can people support someone who fundamentally is changing the entire landscape of a nation of free people born under a constitution based on freedom and liberty?

Don't people realize that if Obama has another 4 years, this country will not resemble a shadow of what it was up until 2008? Are people just too young to understand the change or are people too caught up in a selfish "give me" mentality that they will give up freedom in exchange for government supplied goodies?

  • For someone born in Hawaii?

Doesn't Obama have a pretty good southern black accent when pandering to a convention of black preachers?

  • What is everyone waiting for?

So many politicians and wealthy democratic supporters are on the band wagon of taking money by way of taxes from other wealthy people and those making $250k a year. Why aren't any of those people writing checks to the government to reduce the debt? If Obama and his supporters really believe that the wealthy should pay more, then why aren't they putting actions where their talk is? Obama is after all, a leader, so why doesn't he take the lead and write the first check?

  • Bush, Clinton and Obama. Who has no soul?

Did you pay attention and feel the compassion when Bush and Clinton spoke yesterday in PA? Those two are able to show their compassion for each and every person who perished 10 years ago today. Then we have Obama, who can not, for whatever reason, speak with compassion. He seems to be a man without a soul.

  • Christmas gift suggestions?

Help! I need suggestions for what an appropriate gift would be to give to someone who you've only been dating for about a month. Both people are 50 or older, divorced, own their own homes, etc. I need suggestions for something that isn't too personal, yet also isn't too impersonal.

  • If you don't enroll in the government health care plan?

If you decide not to enroll in the government health care plan and they arrest you and throw you in jail for 5 years, will you get excellent health care in prison for free?

  • Isn't the healthcare bill a form of elitism?

For those who support the health care bill, are you calling your representatives and demanding that they enroll in the same program? If you aren't, then aren't you supporting a form of elitism, something that liberals and Democrats loathe? And if you aren't calling them, do you really hold their lives in higher regard than your own or your families?

  • Will Pelosi be funding more jails for nonconformists?

If you don't partake of the health insurance if this power grab passes, you may be charged with a felony, fined up to $250,000 or imprisoned for up to 5 years.

Does this mean we are going to face an even larger prison overcrowding situation? This is directed at everyone who cannot afford to pay for the $15,000 premium Pelosi intends on imposing on every American.

    Read it and weap folks:

“H.R. 3962 provides that an individual (or a husband and wife in the case of a joint return) who does not, at any time during the taxable year, maintain acceptable health insurance coverage for himself or herself and each of his or her qualifying children is subject to an additional tax.” [page 1]

    - - - - - - - - - -

“If the government determines that the taxpayer’s unpaid tax liability results from willful behavior, the following penalties could apply…” [page 2]

    - - - - - - - - - -

    “Criminal penalties

Prosecution is authorized under the Code for a variety of offenses. Depending on the level of the noncompliance, the following penalties could apply to an individual:

    • Section 7203 – misdemeanor willful failure to pay is punishable by a fine of up to $25,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year.

    • Section 7201 – felony willful evasion is punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 and/or imprisonment of up to five years.” [page 3]

  • Is there any difference?

Is there any difference between walking into a crowded room, pulling out a couple of guns, yelling praise to Allah and then opening fire on innocent people or, walking into that same room, yelling praise to Allah and detonating a bomb strapped to your body?

  • If the healthcare bill passes?

If the health care bill passes do you realize it will be the first tax on the fact that you are a human being and you will be forced to pay the tax for other humans? Other taxes and insurance are a result of decisions we make, not simply because we were born.

At birth it will be required that someone insure the new human and that will continue monthly until the human gets to adulthood. At that point the human will be forced to picked up that tax if the parents no longer pay. Once it changes hands, that human will pay the monthly tax until the day they die.

This begs the question, how will society change over time? Those who work and earn a living will have to consider the additional cost when they are planning a family. Yet the poor and uneducated will continue to breed and reproduce because they won't be burdened with the decision or the consequences, the government will pay their tax.

  • Can anyone honestly say they support this?

Support this mandatory, government run healthcare?

We're all going to be forced to pay $1 a month to fund abortion. Medical personnel will be forced to perform abortions against their will. Anyone with a terminal illness with have to go without insurance for 6 months before the government plan will be available to them. Never mind what damage is going to be done to the elderly and ill when medicare is slashed.

Am I the only person who can see that this all boils down to killing off the sick, the elderly, the no longer useful, the people who can't contribute to society, and controlling the number of new people to enter this world?

I really can't believe this is all happening.

  • Is Janet Napolitano a visonary?

Remember when Napolitano said our military could become violent when she was working on the list of homegrown terrorists? Did she know then that there are militant muslims embedded in our military? Do you think she'll call this what it is, an act of terrorism?

  • Government health care question?

Does anyone know if a table has been generated and made public of the breakdown of income, dependents, etc., and how much this free health care is going to cost monthly for people who don't already have health insurance?

In other words, can all these young, healthy kids without insurance actually see what this is going to cost them monthly?

  • Learning to accept "No", is it painful?

Seems that the golden boy Obama who has had everything handed to him his entire life thanks to the government, affirmative action and corrupt individuals like Rev. Wright and Ayers along with a swooning, leg tingling media is finally being told "No".

Do you think Obama, being in his 40's is able to handle being told "no" for the first time in his life?

  • Does this clear it up now?

Since Letterman has admitted to sexual relations with not one, but several women, does this put into perspective his calling Palin a slut? Seems to me it's revealing in that Letterman likes sluts and therefore contrary to what he says, deep down he really does like Sarah Palin.
