There is nothing in the bill that says that if you decide not to enroll in the government health care plan, they arrest you and throw you in jail for 5 years. You will be free to keep your own plan. There will be a government option available mostly for those who can't afford a private plan. If you can afford it and don't get private or public coverage you will be fined $2400. This would cost a person less than a years premium on any plan available today.
