Why are these questions here?

Momma always said, "stupid people are a part of life" .

Unofrtunately , this is happen in almost every section.

When a country has not its own Y!Answers section, then the whole question ,political or travel, end up in the travel section.

I am regular and top contributor in Greece's travel section, and most of the questions are NOT travel.

They may are politics, food, music, (travel), tv, everything related to Greece..

It's not about being illiterate.Its about finding the answers you are looking for.

f.e.If anyone asks lyrics for a Greek song, in music section, he is not going to take any answer.No Greek user is hanging around music section. While if he asks this in the travel, he ll get the answer he is looking for.

Israel happen to have some conflicts with its neighbors so, obviously the politics related questions,are a little bit more than it should.

There are many Jews left in Greece.

There is a Jewish community which is very active and very protected.

Just to let you know, that my island (my hometown) , is one of the few (if not the only) places that every-single-Jew survived...(And yes, my granparents, hide one of them)

Good question and I've wondered about that too;the problem is that even if a poster is banned then all they do is come back with a new identity and start all over again.

my experience is that on Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) Muslim take over UK YA branch.

I don't think it is illiteracy. It is more like people are choosing to ignore the word "travel". But once in a while a legit travel question does pop up.

Safety is number one when it comes to traveling.
