How many shots of Vodka is equal to one Beer?
I was just wondering what the equivalent to one shot of vodka is in beer. For example, "2 shots of vodka is roughly the same as one beer". That's probably not what it is...but I want to know what it actually is.

It equals 1 beer. Beer is about 5%, but there's 12 ounces of beer.

2 shots of vodka or 2 oz of vodka at 80 proof is 0.8 oz of alcohol
1 beer at 1 pint (a US beer is 12 oz, not 16) is about 0.4 oz of alcohol (depends on beer)
So roughly 1 shot equals one beer. Depends on the beer though.

1 fluid ounce of 80 proof or 40% alcohol is about one beer. Its the common rule of thumb. they use a 1 ounce shot in a mixed drink, so it is all the same. 1 drink, 1 (1 ounce) shot, 1 beer= the same alcohol.

The same amount of alcohol is in one shot, one beer, one glass of wine. Some drinks you just feel faster.
