How can the treacherous media claim the shooter had PTSD?

For you to have PTSD you actually have to go through something traumatic like this guy. The leftist traitors are attempting to sling mud at the troops during the aftermath of the terrorist attack at Ft. Hood by not laying the blame on an islamic terrorist, but on a condition that he couldn't possibly have!

Update:

No, I don't have a PHD in psych. I'm just a Sr. International Security Specialist who KNOWS the enemy and how they manipulate and spin things- and even get our media to manipulate and spin things to get away with them. I spent some time in Walter Reed and BAMC, and even some time in Iraq. I've seen people with PTSD. A doc, particularly a RADICAL MUSLIM TERRORIST who previously praised suicide bombers, can't use PTSD as an excuse! If you're defending him, you're a traitor.

Update 2:

It's also been discovered he tried to contact Al-Qaida and attended the same mosque as some of the 9-11 hi-jackers. Yep, keep making excuses.

Update 3:

I know it's possible for people outside a war-zone to get it... my mom had it after a seriously abusive relationship. However, the evidence is extensive that this guy was kindling relationships with terrorists, and believed in their "cause."

There is a such thing as contact PTSD. I know someone who had a total breakdown due to this. She worked with rape survivors and other victims for two years, hearing all the horrible things that happened to them. Her job entailed getting all the nasty details. One day she just flipped and was curled in a ball crying for about two months. She ended up quitting her job and was in really bad shape for a few years. She was never able to return to that line of work. She now shares her experience with others to make sure people know the warning signs, how to take care of themselves (get counseling!) to help keep it from happening to others in her former line of work.

Just because he was Islamic doesn't mean he was a terrorist. Sometimes people wig out for totally personal reasons. Sometimes they are related to religion (there have been a number of Christians who have done the same thing in recent years - such as the guy in Colorado who shot-up his former missionary training seminary and the church in Colorado Springs) and sometimes they are related to other stuff (Columbine/ bullying, postal workers/work politics).

This seems more like a personal revenge insanity thing (he simply heard too much about the horrors of war) more than terrorism.

You know PTSD isn't always caused by war, or whatever. Drug addiction, sexual abuse, war, even seeing your dead uncle in a casket can cause it.

Just a heads up. It's hard to tell how some of these freaks minds work.

I don't think he could get PTSD, he is an Army Officer Psychiatrist, he would never go into any type of situation that could cause a problem.

How can you claim otherwise? Do you have a PHd in psychiatry? Then how are you qualified to make any judgement about the alleged shooters mental state?
